It was agreed to be the best, and most completely preserved, of a small number of purpose-built skateparks to survive from the early years of British skateboarding. Join us for a special reminiscence on Rom Skatepark, the world’s only heritage listed skatepark. The Rom Skatepark was built in 1978 to the designs of Adrian Rolt/G-force, and as of 11th Sep 2014 is now a Grade II listed site. Between the 1940s – 80 Maier took thousands of photographs in Chicago and New York, capturing the many faces of twentieth century city life. Five actors, with all manner of musical instruments, present an inventive take on Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing – a rip-roaring comedy of quarrels, deceptions and a frustratingly stupid man called Dogberry.
The Three Inch Fools are a five-strong troupe of actors, performing a highly imaginative and vibrantly musical take on Shakespeare's plays across the UK. The Fools do Shakespeare differently - a fast-paced, musically-driven style, using all sorts of different instruments, plenty of multi-roling and many a quick costume change along the way.

Returning from the battlefield as brave soldiers, Claudio and Benedick find themselves battling feelings of the heart as they are reunited with Hero and Beatrice. A series of misunderstandings, mistaken identity, and a scheming brother threatens to sabotage Claudio’s attempts to woo Hero. While Benedick and Beatrice find themselves stubbornly fighting their feelings for one another.
This performance is an outdoor performance. We recommend that you bring blankets/chairs to sit on. Do bring coats and warm clothing, and if rain is forecast bring a raincoat. We ask that you don't bring umbrellas as these can obscure the view for other people in the audience. In the event of rain the performance will continue!
The venue will be serving food and drinks 45 minutes before the performance starts. Delicious salads, light dinners, hot and cold drinks will be available to purchase.

The Three Inch Fools are a five-strong troupe of actors, performing a highly imaginative and vibrantly musical take on Shakespeare's plays across the UK. The Fools do Shakespeare differently - a fast-paced, musically-driven style, using all sorts of different instruments, plenty of multi-roling and many a quick costume change along the way.

This performance is physically driven and vibrant performance will tell the story of witchcraft, prophecy, a dominant wife, and Macbeth’s unstoppable desire to become King of Scotland. All of this accompanied by an original folk inspired soundtrack.

This session covers requests from £3,000—£250,000.
Attend our Workshop to be inspired, to improve your understanding of heritage, and to learn about what to include if you want to design a project we could fund. Havering Museum will be on hand to provide an introductory session to exciting heritage material from their collections, and will give us a curator-led tour of the Museum itself.
The workshop is interactive and will include:

- ‘What is Heritage?’ discussion to help you shape your idea

We will be creating a garden style bouquet, taking ideas from Denney's most favoured colour ways using beautiful blooms to create a natural, textured bouquet to take home.

Ride aboard Daisy, the vintage Route Master for a day of discovery of the built heritage in our local landscape.
The route starts and returns to Valence House, the 15th century moated manor house that is now a local history museum in Barking an Dagenham. Daisy's route for the day takes in historic buildings around Ilford and Essex such as Eastbury Manor, Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge, and Ilford Hospital Chapel.
Daisy will be stopping at each site for approx 45 minutes where you will get the opportunity to have a guided walk/talk at the venue.
Buffet lunch at Eastbury Manor is included in the price of the ticket. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.
Due to the nature of the event, it is not possible to accommodate pushchairs and wheel chairs on the bus. Please contact us to discuss any accessibility requirements. It is also advisable that the event is not suitable for very young children.

Moneypenny Productions are back at Eastbury to tell one of the most dramatic and treasonous tales in British history. With an explosive mix of storytelling and theatre, find out who has a story to tell, a sizzling secret to hide, and a message to pass on from “the other side”.
Help us light the fuse on this interactive adventure suitable for the whole family. It’s guaranteed to blow the roof off!
Performances take place at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm. Each performance is 45 minutes long. Tickets cost £5 per person, under 3's are free!
Cake Decorating Workshop
Join us in The Buttery to decorate bonfire themed cupcakes, or let your imagination run wild with sprinkles, sugar stands and more. Our Eastbury Kitchen Chef will be on hand to offer tips and pointers on how to create a cupcake that’s (almost) too good to eat!
Children and adults welcome. Drop-in session all day. You will create a cupcake and box to take home. This workshop costs £3 per person.

Meet Father Christmas in his Woodland Grotto.
Meet Father Christmas in his Woodland Grotto in this Grade I listed house.
Children will start their day by writing their Christmas wish list, with help from Father Christmas’s elves. They can take their letter to show Father Christmas, or post it in our Christmas post box to send it straight to the North Pole.
Father Christmas is waiting to meet all his little helpers in a stunning woodland grotto, complete with Christmas tunes and a festive fireplace.
Your visit to meet Father Christmas will include a stocking full of gifts and a private meeting with the man himself.
On Sunday 1 December you and all the family can also enjoy a Christmas Makers Market. We will be inviting a range of stalls to Eastbury so come and browse for your Christmas presents.
On Sunday 8 December also join us for more festive activities including Christmas crafts, children’s trails and tours of the house.
The Eastbury Kitchen will be cooking up festive surprises on both days.
Admission to Eastbury, and entry to the Christmas Makers Market, is free of charge on both days. Book tickets to visit Father Christmas at an additional charge. Please specify the ages of children visiting to receive a personalised gift.
Spaces are limited so we recommend booking in advance. Select the date you want to visit and then choose a specific time slot. Adults do not need to book tickets. Max party size is 15. Check Eastbury Manor House social media to see if on the door tickets will be available.

Join costumed tour guides for a seasonal candlelit tour of the house and learn about Eastbury's history.
The costumed guides will lead you around this beautiful Grade I listed building, illuminated by candlelight, and tell stories from Eastbury's rich past. Learn about who has lived at Eastbury over the past five centuries and what marks they have left on the building. Eastbury's fascinating past includes tales of disinheritance, destruction and decay.
Ticket price includes refreshments. Drinks and snacks will be served from 6.30pm and the tour starts at 7pm.

Eastbury is thrilled to welcome back the Kingsley Choral Group for a magical night of music in the beautiful surroundings of this Grade I listed house. Sing along to Christmas favourites and enjoy a cheery evening for all the family. Songs will include "Mary's Boy Child" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas".
Refreshments will be available for purchase from 6pm and the carol concert starts at 7pm.

The Christmas afternoon tea will feature delicate finger sandwiches, delicious cakes and freshly made scones, all with a festive spin.
Take this last opportunity to see Eastbury decorated for Christmas, including a festive photo opportunity.
