Open Day at Ilford Hospital Chapel

The next Chapel Open Day is on Saturday 13th May, from 10am to 2pm. There will be guided tours, refreshments, memorabilia and stalls. Do visit Ilford’s oldest building, founded as a hospice for 13 old and infirm men in AD1145 by Adelicia, Abbess of Barking. She is represented by the Victorian carving pictured above.
