Steady As She Goes at Havering Museum

Havering Museum welcomes back their second exhibition from the Old Royal Naval College Art Club, based in Greenwich, with Steady As She Goes, an exhibition of maritime paintings on a nautical theme.

The exhibition is normally available from 11:00 till 17:00 (last admission 16:00), Wednesday to Saturday but talks, events and room hire may mean it is closed off at certain times so please telephone 01708 766571 for Exhibition access times in advance of your visit.

Rom Boys: 40 Years of Rad. The Story of Rom Skate Park at Havering Museum

The Rom Skate Park was built in 1978 to the designs of Adrian Rolt/G-force, and as of 11th Sep 2014 is now a Grade II listed site. It was agreed to be the best, and most completely preserved, of a small number of purpose-built skateparks to survive from the early years of British skateboarding. This exhibition show cases the Rom Boys 40 years of RAD , it starts on 23 March and runs until 6th April.

Join us for a special reminiscence on Rom Skatepark, the world’s only heritage listed skatepark.
