The Forest Charter was signed by the 9 year old Henry III in 1217. Newly commissioned illustrations, activity sheets and a window into what people wanted to do in forests 800 years ago.

Guided Walk – Dagnam Park at Thames Chase Forest Centre

Join us for our guided walk to Dagnam Park (The Manor) from 10am.

To discover the human and natural history of Dagnam Park (The Manor), Harold Hill. For anyone interested in learning more about the environment of the area, especially the former Dagnam and Gooshays Estates as well as local wildlife.

Starting and finishing at the car park in Central Park, Petersfield Avenue, Harold Hill, the walk goes northerly through the park, then Hatters Wood and Dagnam Park, returning south via a different route through Hatters Wood and Central. Distance approximately 3km.

Much of the woodland route may be muddy after rainfall and suitable footwear is recommended.

Come and join us for some fresh air and light exercise and enjoy what the Community Forest has to offer at this time of year.

Spooky Walks at Thames Chase Forest Centre

Are you brave enough to step into the night and take a spine tingling spooky walk through the forest? Enjoy the thrills as you walk amongst the trees.

Victorian theme.

Walks every 10 minutes

Between 5.10 and 8.10pm

For families with children over 6yrs

Please dress appropriately for an evening in October. Bring waterproofs and wellies for wet weather.  Bring a torch.

Admission by ticket only.
