London: A Bigger Picture is a major Film London project aiming to get Londoners enjoying the city’s archive film while building a wider picture of London life.

This event will see an expert from London’s Screen Archives showing films from your area, exploring their history and explaining how you can donate your home movies to preserve them for future generations. The show will start at 2.30pm with a chance for Q&A.

Multi-lap and very gently undulating 10K route through picturesque park and woodland. Off road and completely traffic free on network of flat surfaced paths, with a small section of grass/meadow.

Family Fun Run

The 10K will be followed by our family fun run at 11.30.

Entry Fees –

  • £10 per family.
  • £3 per child between 11-16 running alone

Welcome back to Brentwood School Big Band for an afternoon of incredible sound on the Forest Centre meadow. Bring your garden chairs and enjoy a picnic whilst listening to the band. Hampers available and a barbecue to follow the concert.

After Hours: Gin at Rainham Hall

In the eighteenth century there was a craze sweeping London! The city was overcrowded, poverty was rife and one spirit seemed to be the answer… GIN! Bermondsey Gin Ltd, who are purveyors of historical gins, will be in residence for the evening so come and taste a bit of the eighteenth century and discover the story behind this much loved spirit. There will be talks, tastings and a G&T bar.
